Use post-level results to understand one piece of content. Keep the platform and reporting period in view, especially when the post was published to several channels.
Open the results
Find the post in Analytics, or use its statistics action in Calendar when available. Inspect the channel and metric labels. If the post targets more than one profile, compare the destinations separately.
When data is missing
- Confirm that the post actually published to the channel.
- Check the analytics date range and selected profile.
- Check whether the profile connection is healthy.
- Use the available refresh action and allow time for data to update.
- Read any unavailable-data or permission message.
A platform may not provide a particular metric or may limit historical information. Newly published content can also take time to appear. Do not interpret an unavailable value as zero activity.
When a result looks unusual
Open the live platform post to confirm the content and destination. Check whether you are comparing the same metric and period. If the connection recently changed, mention that when asking for help.
For persistent gaps, contact support with the channel, post, date range, and missing metric. Include the displayed error if there is one.
