Post defaults help you avoid repeating the same instructions each time you create content. They belong to a persona, so check which persona you are editing.
Review the defaults
- Open Workspace settings → Brand & persona.
- Select a persona and open Post defaults.
- Set Add a footer to posts, edit the Footer text, and review Auto-include relevant hashtags and your Hashtag bank.
- Save your changes.
- Generate a draft and inspect the complete caption, including the final lines.
Keep the footer short. A name and useful way to get in touch often work better than repeating every contact field. Use the fields and controls available in the app to decide which details should appear.
Check each channel
The right ending may differ by channel. A caption that refers to a clickable link needs a link placement the reader can actually use. Review each channel's version rather than assuming the same call to action works everywhere.
Existing posts need their own review
Updating a default guides future content. It does not replace the footer in every previously created caption. Open scheduled posts that need a new phone number, website, or offer and update them individually.
If a footer still looks wrong on a new draft, check the selected persona and its Profile & contact details as well as its post defaults.
