Repeating posts reuse a message at an interval. They work best for information that stays accurate, such as an evergreen introduction or a general service reminder. An open-house invitation or an old listing price needs closer control.
Configure a repeat
- Open the post composer and review the content and destinations.
- Choose Repeat off in the footer.
- Select an interval, such as Every day, Weekly, Every 2 weeks, or Monthly. The menu also offers several intervals between two and six days.
- Review the caption-rewrite option if you use it.
- Schedule or queue the first delivery and verify the resulting repeat confirmation.
Saving a draft with repeat settings is not the same as starting a scheduled series. Check both its repeat setting and its delivery status.
Review before each subject becomes outdated
A rewritten caption is not a fresh verification of the facts. Review property status, price, links, event dates, and the image. Repetition can make outdated information appear again even when you have created newer content about the same subject.
Choose an interval for the usefulness of the message, not simply to fill empty dates. Vary the content if followers would otherwise see the same image and claim too often.
Find and stop a series
Use Manage repeats from the scheduling confirmation, or the Repeating filter in Calendar's list view. Review the active series and use Stop repeating when future repeats are no longer appropriate.
Check the remaining scheduled items after stopping. Do not use Delete post merely to stop repetition: deletion and the repeat control are different actions.
