How to add a listing, step by step
A listing is the source for every post about a property, so its facts end up in your captions and designs. There are five ways to add one.
- By hand: go to Listings → All listings → Add listing, fill in Address and Price, the property type, listing type and status, add photos and save.
- From a webpage: paste a public property page into Import from a URL, choose Fetch & auto-fill, check the fields and save.
- From a spreadsheet: open Listings → Import, download the CSV template, upload your file, match the columns and import.
- From Houzez: connect the plugin, then go to Listings → Import → Connected sources and choose Sync now.
- From another CRM or website: go to Listings → Import, choose Request integration under Your CRM or website and tell us which one you use; we set up the sync.
- Add an open house with Add open house: the date, start and end time, and notes.
- Promote it with Create → Promote a listing.

Visit the FAQ hubDo I need a Houzez website?
No. You can add listings manually, paste a listing link, import a CSV or have us connect your CRM or website. Houzez is an optional connection for bringing in listings from a website using the theme.
Can I preview a CSV before importing?
Yes. After uploading the file, review the rows and map the columns to Velisto’s listing fields. Map an Address or Title column so each property can be identified.
Does a CSV file stay connected and update automatically?
No. CSV uploads import the file you provide. For ongoing updates, use the Houzez connection or a connection we set up for your CRM or website.
How does Houzez sync work?
Connect your site through the Velisto WordPress plugin. Run Sync now in Listings → Import to bring in its published listings and enable automatic updates. You can change the sync mode or pause the connection in workspace settings.
Can I import just one listing from Houzez?
Yes. A listing URL from your connected site lets you bring in an individual property. Manual sync mode keeps incoming website changes from importing automatically.
Does updating a listing rewrite my published social posts?
Listing sync updates the property records you use for content creation. Review your drafts and scheduled content separately; it is not a way to rewrite posts already published on social channels.
Is MLS or IDX import available?
MLS / IDX feed integration is marked as coming soon. Today you can add listings by hand, import them from a URL or a CSV, sync a Houzez site, or have us connect your CRM or website.
How many listings can I import?
Your listing allowance depends on your plan. Check your workspace capacity on the pricing page.
Can Velisto connect to my CRM?
Yes, and it’s free on every plan. Start your free trial, go to Listings → Import and choose Request integration under Your CRM or website. We look at how your CRM shares its listings and set up the sync for you.
Is there an API or a Zapier integration?
Not yet. Instead of an API to set up yourself, we build the connection to your CRM or website for you, at no extra cost.
Does Velisto post my listings automatically?
No. A listing coming into Velisto doesn’t publish anything. You choose which posts, reels or flyers to make from it and when they go out.
