Reuse an existing design

Make a new piece from a useful starting point while checking the facts that need to change.

Reusing a design can save time, especially for recurring formats such as property highlights or educational posts. Treat it as a starting point and check every detail that belongs to the previous subject.

Start from saved content

  1. Open Content in the correct workspace.
  2. Find the design using its available filters and search.
  3. Use its duplicate, template, or reuse action when offered for that content type.
  4. Choose the new listing or replace the old text and media.
  5. Check the persona and save the new result.

Prefer creating a separate copy when an existing asset is already used in scheduled or published content. Read any in-use warning before changing the original.

Check for leftover details

Review the address, price, property facts, date, headshot, contact details, and call to action. For a carousel, check every slide. For a video, play every scene.

A familiar layout can make stale information easy to miss. Look at the finished output as if you had never seen the original.

Reuse the structure, refresh the message

Change the caption to fit the new property or idea. Repeating an old caption with a new image can create contradictory information.

If you want the same social post to repeat on a schedule, use the separate repeating-post workflow and review whether the content will stay relevant.
