Chatting with the AI Agent

The conversational way to run Velisto — draft posts, generate images, work from listings and schedule, all in chat.

The AI Agent (in the sidebar) is a chat that can operate the app for you. Anything you'd click through — creating a post, generating an image, scheduling — you can also just ask for:

  • "Write a just-listed post for 12 Ocean Drive and schedule it Friday morning."
  • "Give me three caption options about falling rates for first-time buyers."
  • "Make an image of a cozy autumn porch for a seasonal post."

Working with a listing

Attach one of your listings to the conversation and the agent works with its real data — price, features, photos, status. That grounding is what keeps captions specific and accurate, so attach the listing rather than describing the property in your message.

Heads up:

The agent only knows the property facts you've given it. It won't invent square footage or amenities — and you shouldn't ask it to; accurate listings make accurate content.

The agent acts — with your confirmation

When a request goes beyond writing — scheduling a post, creating content in your workspace — the agent shows you what it's about to do and asks you to confirm before it acts. Anything it creates lands in the same places as always (drafts, the calendar), fully editable afterwards. The chat is a faster steering wheel, not a separate system.

Getting better results

  • Be concrete about the goal: "a post for Saturday's open house, 11–1, casual tone" beats "make a post".
  • Iterate in the chat — "shorter", "more direct", "swap the photo" all work; you don't have to restate the whole request.
  • Use it for thinking, too — content angles for a stale listing, what to post in a slow week. It knows your market and persona.
