Overlays place designed text and branding over your photos. Music supplies the soundtrack. Both are selected inside the Reel or Video editor, before Create video.
Choose a visual style
- Open Choose overlay in the editor's left panel.
- Use All, Recently used, or Saved to narrow the choices, or search by name.
- Select a style that suits the photo orientation and amount of information.
- Return to the preview and inspect how the overlay sits over your images.
Choose None for a photos-only video. Saving an overlay as a favorite helps you find it again; it does not create or export a video.
Review the text and identity
Check the persona chip in the top bar. A listing supplies property facts; the persona supplies supported branding fields. In Overlay text, edit the fields exposed by the selected style and inspect the corresponding scene or end card.
Some styles have an Intro card switch and separate highlight or outro cards. Check the whole sequence, especially the final contact details. If you switch persona, review the brand fields again: the editor refreshes those values for the new identity.
Choose a soundtrack
- Open Choose music.
- Search the library or look through Favorites and Recently used.
- Use a track's preview control to listen, then select the track you want.
- Choose Done and set Volume in the editor.
Use No music for a silent export. If you upload your own audio, wait for it to finish processing before selecting it and use audio you have permission to include.
Check the finished result
After rendering, play the MP4 with sound. Confirm the music is present at a suitable level and that no important text is hidden against the photo. A video with the right soundtrack still needs a caption and selected social profiles when you add it to a post.
