Sync your listings

How listings flow from your Houzez site into Velisto — first sync, ongoing updates, and the marketing defaults.

Last updated

With the plugin connected, your Houzez site becomes a listing source: what's published there syncs into your Velisto workspace, photos and all.

The first sync

Open Listings → Import in Velisto. Your connected site appears under Connected sources — run Sync and Velisto imports every published listing from the site, with live progress ("Syncing 14 of 62 listings from Houzez"). Depending on how many listings and photos you have, the first run can take a few minutes; you can leave the page and check Recent imports later.

What comes across

Each listing arrives with its details — address, price, beds, baths, size, description, features — plus its photos, copied into Velisto at full resolution. Your Houzez property types and statuses come across as they are on your site, so the taxonomy you already maintain in WordPress is the one you'll see under Listings → Taxonomies.

Keeping things in sync

Re-run the sync from Listings → Import whenever you've added or updated listings on the site — it picks up new listings and refreshes existing ones. Need to stop the flow for a while? Pause syncing on the Workspace settings → Houzez panel, and Resume when ready.

Note:

Syncing is one-way: your website remains the source of truth, and Velisto reads from it. Edits you make to a listing inside Velisto aren't written back to WordPress.

From synced listing to social post

Once a listing is in Velisto, it works exactly like any other: generate a single post, a full Listing Kit, or let Fill my week draw on it. Publish a new property on your website, sync, post — that's the whole loop.
