The Hootsuite alternative built for real estate agents. Create your listing posts, branded designs and Reels, then schedule them.
Hootsuite is a capable social media management platform for large teams, sold per user from $99 a month, billed yearly. It publishes to many networks and adds an inbox, listening and approval workflows, but it doesn’t know what a listing is.
Velisto is built for real estate agents, teams and brokerages. It creates your listing posts, branded designs and Reels from your listings and your market, then schedules them to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Threads, from $59 a month. For agents, teams and brokerages whose social media runs on listings and local expertise, that’s the better fit.
Every Hootsuite detail below is taken from Hootsuite’s own pricing and help pages, checked September 24, 2026. Velisto is our product; its details come from the app and our pricing page.

Is Hootsuite good for real estate agents?
Hootsuite is a strong general-purpose social media platform. It has a shared inbox for comments and messages, social listening, approval workflows from its Advanced plan, and publishing to more networks than Velisto, including LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Pinterest. Its Wisdom AI writes captions, suggests ideas and can generate images. None of that is specific to real estate: it works the same way for a restaurant or a retailer.
What it doesn’t have is the real estate part, for a solo agent or a 30-agent brokerage. It doesn’t turn a listing into posts, prompt you when a listing sells, make Reels from listing photos or suggest topics from your market, and its design templates come from Canva and Adobe Express rather than being built around your listings. It’s also sold per user: five agents on Standard cost $495 a month, billed yearly, while Velisto’s Team plan covers five users for $99.
WHERE VELISTO WINS
Why real estate agents choose Velisto over Hootsuite
Your listings become posts, not homework
Pick a listing and Velisto writes and designs the campaign around it: the announcement, a feature spotlight, an open house invitation, a Story and a Reel, in your brand. When you mark the listing sold, under contract, reduced or back on the market, it prompts you for two weeks to create the matching post.
Topics from your market, turned into branded posts
Plan my content suggests topics from your business profile, meaning your market, your services, your ideal client and your goals, and turns each one into a branded image or carousel with its caption. Between listings, you still have a week of real estate content that sounds like you.
Real estate templates, with your details already in
Content Studio fills a template’s fields with your words and photos; Design Studio gives you full control of the design. The 200+ templates are built for real estate, and your brand kit fills in your logo, colors, brokerage name and license number on every one.
Reels from listing photos, without filming yourself
The Reels & Video Editor turns listing photos into a 9:16 Reel or a 16:9 video with motion, music and branded opening and closing cards, which can carry your headshot, name and brokerage.
Built for teams and brokerages, not just solo agents
Team and Brokerage plans put everyone in one workspace, with a brand persona for each agent’s voice and contact details. Team covers 5 users and 15 social profiles; Brokerage covers 30 users, 50 profiles and unlimited personas. Agency plans give each client its own workspace.
Captions in 14 languages, AI images, templates, Reels, Velisto Agent, the content calendar and publishing to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Threads are in every plan. Plans differ in allowances, not features.
Is Velisto a good Hootsuite alternative for real estate agents?
Yes, if you’re an agent, team or brokerage publishing to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Threads. Velisto creates the listing posts, designs and Reels as well as scheduling them. If you need a shared inbox, approvals or LinkedIn and X, Hootsuite covers those and Velisto doesn’t.
Velisto vs Hootsuite: which is cheaper for one agent?
Velisto’s Solo plan is $59 a month, or $49 billed yearly. Hootsuite’s Standard plan is $99 per user a month, billed yearly, as of September 24, 2026.
Does Velisto have approval workflows like Hootsuite?
No. Velisto has no second-person approval step. AI-generated posts wait for your review before they are scheduled, but there is no separate approver role.
Can I use Velisto and Hootsuite together?
Yes. You can create and schedule your real estate content in Velisto and keep Hootsuite for a shared inbox or for networks Velisto doesn’t publish to.
