Rescheduling changes when an unpublished post will be sent. Start from the existing post so you do not accidentally create a duplicate.
Move a post to a new time
- Open Calendar and find the post. Use the platform and status filters if needed.
- Open the post and inspect its current scheduled time and destinations.
- Open its scheduling controls and choose the replacement date and time.
- Check the timezone and resolved date in the picker.
- Confirm the change, then return to Calendar and verify the new slot.
Changing the caption and saving is not the same as rescheduling. A scheduled post can retain its time after a content edit; always inspect the result when you intend to move it.
When channels have different times
The scheduler can show a separate time for each destination. Keep channel times retains those existing slots. To move selected destinations, check the relevant channels and choose New time. Use Select all only when every editable destination should move together.
Published or otherwise locked destinations cannot be treated like editable future posts. Review the available controls rather than recreating the entire group.
Take a post off the schedule
Use Unschedule when you want to keep the content without allowing the upcoming delivery. The post returns to a draft state; it can still retain a calendar slot for planning. Confirm its status says draft afterward.
If the content is an unapproved generated proposal, use the plan's review controls instead of assuming a date change approves it. See Review your content plan.
Check time-sensitive details
If you move an open-house post, inspect the event date in both the caption and the image. Moving its publication time does not rewrite those details. For repeated content, also review the repeat settings and whether the series is still appropriate.
