CSV import brings property facts from a spreadsheet into the current workspace. You map your file's columns to Velisto fields before starting the import.
1. Prepare the spreadsheet
Open Listings → Import and download CSV template for the supported fields. Use one row per property, with a clear header row. Save the file as CSV rather than uploading an Excel workbook.
Include an Address or Title so each row identifies a property. For useful marketing content, also include the price, property type, listing type, status, and the facts you can verify.
2. Keep fields separate

Use plain numbers for numeric fields. Keep the full address together rather than expecting separate city, state, and ZIP columns to assemble themselves. Photo uploads are not part of this CSV mapping; add and verify photos on the imported listing afterward.
3. Upload and review the mapping
Drop the CSV into the upload area or choose browse. Wait for the preview. Review each suggested mapping against its sample value; similar column names can mean different things in your spreadsheet.
Use Don't import for columns you do not want. Map at least Title or Address. A destination field can only be assigned once, so choose the correct source column when the spreadsheet has several similar addresses or prices.
4. Import and check the result
Start the import only after the preview looks right. A successful import returns you to the listing index with the result. Read the imported and skipped counts, then inspect several properties, including one with optional fields and one with a rental price.
If your workspace reaches its listing allowance, some rows can be skipped. Check the result before importing the file again; an incomplete run is not a reason to blindly repeat all rows.
Fix common CSV problems
- File cannot be read: confirm it is a CSV and within the size/row limit shown by the upload control.
- Import is unavailable: map an identifying field such as Address or Title.
- Fields are missing: review the mapping and whether the column was left on Don't import.
- Photos are absent: add them through the listing's photo editor after importing.
For an individual webpage, use URL import.
