Your persona & headshot

The person on your posts — name, title, contact details, writing style, and the photo Velisto puts on your designs.

If brand settings are the look, your persona is the person: who appears on the designs, whose voice the captions are written in, and how you can be reached. It lives in Workspace settings → Brand & persona, alongside the brand.

On team and agency plans a workspace can hold several personas — one per agent — and you pick whose persona a post uses when creating content.

Identity

  • Display name and title — shown on designs and sign-offs. Pick a preset role or write your own.
  • Email, phone, website — the contact block templates can place on flyers and posts.
  • License number — shown where your designs include it (required in many markets).
  • Short bio, primary market, markets you serve — feed the AI's understanding of who you are.

Each teammate gets a persona; the default one is you.

Your headshot

Upload the best photo of yourself you have — it's placed on feed designs, flyers and story templates. Two things matter:

  1. Resolution — a sharp, well-lit photo. Phone portraits work fine; heavily filtered or tiny images don't.
  2. Framing — a photo that shows more of you than just your face gives Velisto more to work with. Many feed templates feature a cut-out of you (background removed) standing beside the listing — that effect needs a photo where your head and upper body are fully in frame, not cropped at the chin.

After uploading you can adjust the crop so the framing is exactly right.

The headshot lives with your contact details under Identity — chest-up or waist-up works best.
Note:

Velisto removes the background from your photo automatically for designs that need the cut-out look. If the cut-out ever looks rough, try a photo with a cleaner background and better contrast between you and it.

Writing style

The Writing style section controls how captions sound:

  • Writing style — the tone the AI writes in.
  • Use emojis in captions — on or off, your call.
  • Hashtags — auto-include relevant hashtags, plus a hashtag bank: tags the AI is allowed to draw from for your captions. Fill it with the tags you actually use.
  • Footer — an optional block appended to posts (contact line, disclosure, team credit).

Everything here can be changed any time; like brand settings, changes apply to content you create afterwards.
