Taxonomies are the shared choices used to classify listings. They make property forms and filters consistent across a workspace.
Choose the correct group
Open Listings → Taxonomies and select one of the three tabs:
| Group | What it describes | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Property Types | The physical kind of property | Apartment, Villa, Office. |
| Listing Types | The kind of offer | Sale or Rent. |
| Listing Statuses | Its current availability | Active or Sold. |
Add a label
- Select the correct tab.
- Check the existing choices so you do not add a second spelling of the same meaning.
- Enter a clear label in the add field.
- Choose Add and confirm it appears in the list.
- Open a listing form and use the new choice where appropriate.
Some listing-form selectors also let you create a choice while entering the property. Review Taxonomies afterward if your team needs a consistent naming convention.
Rename or remove your own choices
Use the rename control next to a label you manage and confirm the new name. Treat shared label changes carefully: other listings and teammates may use the same classification.
Read any message before deleting a label. Do not remove a choice simply to change one property's status; edit that property instead. If a choice is protected or in use, follow the interface's explanation.
Keep classification separate from marketing
A marketing angle such as Just Listed does not require creating a duplicate property status with that phrase. Use the property's accurate status, then choose the post angle in Promote a listing. See Keep listing statuses accurate.
