Topic suggestions turn a blank calendar into a set of ideas you can judge. You choose which ideas become posts, and you can supply the facts needed to make them useful to your clients.
Start with the right audience
Open Create → Plan my content and check the persona, dates, and channels. A persona aimed at sellers should not use the same plan as one aimed at first-time buyers. Update your writing preferences if suggestions consistently miss the audience.
Keep, replace, or write a topic
- Use Keep to protect an idea you like when requesting New suggestions.
- Open a topic to edit its title or add Details to include.
- Choose an alternative or ask for another suggestion when the subject is wrong.
- Write your own title when you already know the question your post should answer.
Use Varied topics for a mixed plan. Choose One topic series and enter a theme when the posts should work together. For example, “Preparing for your first viewing” can cover the shortlist, questions to ask, and what to record after the visit.
Add facts the writer cannot infer
A useful title is “Three checks before your second home viewing,” rather than “Buyer tips.” In Details to include, add the exact points you want covered. For an event, include its actual date, time, location, and booking instruction.
Do not ask the writer to invent market figures, availability, or a property's condition. If you do not have a verified figure, ask for practical advice that does not depend on it.
Save a reusable idea
Use Save to My topics in the topic editor to retain an idea. This saves the topic for later reuse; it does not create a finished caption or reserve a calendar slot. When reusing it, update dates and other details that may have changed.
A topic is different from a reusable visual in Content. Save the topic when you want to revisit the subject; use Content when you want an existing design or media item.
Generate and review
Return to the plan, check every selected topic, and generate the posts. Open the resulting Unapproved items in Calendar and review the writing, design, destination, and time before approval. See Review your content plan.
