Onboarding runs once, right after you create your account. It has four short steps — About you, Your market, Your focus, and Pick a plan — and everything you enter can be changed later in settings.
Step 1 — About you
The basics: your name, your role (pick a preset like Real Estate Agent or Broker, or choose Other and write your own — e.g. "Luxury Property Specialist"), and your business or brand name ("Jane Chen Realty"). Your name and role appear on your branded posts and sign-offs.

Step 2 — Your market
Where you sell: add every city or region you work in. These markets show up in captions, content ideas and market-update posts, so list them the way a local would say them ("Austin, TX", "Round Rock", "Mueller").
Step 3 — Your focus
Two plain-language answers: what you do ("luxury residential sales and buyer representation in Austin") and who your typical clients are ("move-up buyers, families relocating, retirees downsizing"). This is the single biggest input to how your captions sound, so write it the way you'd say it to a client.
Plain language is perfect here. You're not writing marketing copy — you're telling the AI what to write marketing copy about.
Step 4 — Pick a plan
Choose the plan that fits how you work — solo agent, team, brokerage, or agency managing multiple clients — and check out. You can switch between monthly and annual billing first; annual is cheaper per month. There's no free trial — instead every plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee: if Velisto isn't for you, email us within 14 days for a full refund. See Plans & billing for the details.
After onboarding
You land in the app. Your best next moves, in order:
- Set up your brand — logo and colors
- Add your headshot
- Connect a channel
- Add your first listing
Or just follow the Quick start, which walks all four.
