This page explains how to delete the data Velisto holds about you — your account, the content in your workspaces, and the data we receive from social accounts you connect, such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, or YouTube. Disconnect a connected social account
You can disconnect any social account from your workspace's channel settings inside Velisto. Disconnecting immediately stops us from using the account's access token — we no longer publish to it or read data from it. If you also want us to delete the data already stored from that account, such as profile details or post analytics, send us a deletion request as described below.
Disconnecting YouTube
Disconnecting a YouTube channel works differently: Velisto revokes its access with Google and deletes the channel’s stored YouTube data — access tokens, channel analytics, and video statistics — right away, without a separate request. You can also remove Velisto’s access from your Google Account’s security settings page. When we detect that access was removed there, we delete the same data.
Delete your account and data
To request deletion of your account and its data, email hello@velisto.ai from the email address associated with your Velisto account, with the subject "Data deletion request". We will verify the request, delete your account, workspaces, content, and connected-account data, and confirm by email. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, and data we received from YouTube is deleted within 7 days.
Removing Velisto from Facebook, Instagram, or Threads
If you remove Velisto from your Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account settings, Meta automatically notifies us with a data-deletion request, and we delete the data associated with that connection without you needing to contact us.
What we may retain
We may retain limited information after deletion where we are required or permitted to do so — for legal, security, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes. Any retained information is kept only as long as those purposes require.
