Analytics helps you understand how your connected channels and published content perform. Start with the scope of the report before interpreting a number.
Choose what to measure
- Open Analytics in the relevant workspace.
- Choose the overview or an individual channel.
- Set the date range.
- Review the headline metrics, trends, and top content available for that selection.
Not every platform provides the same metrics. A missing metric is not automatically a zero, and a channel with no available data may need a connection or more time to collect results.
Look for useful patterns
Compare posts with similar goals and formats. A property announcement and an educational carousel may attract different kinds of responses. Use the top-content view to identify subjects and formats worth trying again.
Check the date range whenever you compare two numbers. A short recent period and a full previous month are not equivalent comparisons.
Interpret the labels
Read the metric label rather than treating all numbers as engagement. Views or impressions describe exposure; interactions describe actions people took; follower measures describe audience change where the platform supplies them.
Results can update after publication as platforms process activity. If a figure looks incomplete, follow Inspect post results and missing metrics.
