Reconnect a social account

Restore an expired or interrupted connection and check affected posts before retrying.

Social platforms can require a new connection after a password change, permission change, or expired authorization. A profile that needs reconnecting may be unable to publish or refresh analytics.

Restore the connection

  1. Open Settings → Social profiles, or the affected profile in Workspace settings → Social profiles.
  2. Find the profile showing a reconnect warning.
  3. Start its reconnect action and sign in to the intended social account.
  4. Approve the required access for the Pages or profiles you want to use.
  5. Return to Velisto and check that the warning is cleared.

For Facebook, follow the Page selection instructions carefully. For Instagram, check that you are authorizing the intended professional account.

Check affected posts

A restored connection does not prove that every earlier post published. Open Calendar, inspect failed posts, and check each channel's result. Retry only the failed destinations after confirming that the post is not already live there.

If reconnecting does not help

Confirm that you still have the required role on the social profile. An account administrator may have changed your access. Also check that the profile is active in the current workspace.

Send support the platform, affected post, and exact error message if the warning continues. Never send your password or an authorization code.
